home page
This would be the home page for a website based on wordpress. In the dashboard you could set this as the page that is displayed when a visitor first comes to your website.
On the page attributes you could set this as order number 1 so that it is always listed as the first page in a list of your pages. If you don’t set the page attribute then the default is alphabetical order.
On pages I always suggest you uncheck the ‘allow comments’ box in the ‘discussion’ area. Comments want to be confined to your blog/news posts really.
